Nine fields, a welcome message immediately at the entrance to all visitors and the flags of Bordeaux fluttering in the wind. The reception at the French club's Sports Center was the best for Genoa, who this afternoon allowed himself a little more than an hour's training in field number 4 of the Bordeaux sports center. High temperature, around 30 degrees even in the late afternoon, and some curious people to entertain themselves during the session at the sideline. Many, not surprisingly, the breaks to hydrate.
This afternoon's training did not see Cassata participate, for which investigations (starting next week, editor's note) will soon arrive on the problem remedied by the acromioclavicular joint, and that Sturaro and Favilli have faced working separately. Sturaro together with the technical assistant Alessio Aliboni carrying out a series of works with the ball, first of the head and then with the feet, ending with a series of solo dribbles. Favilli, however, worked in the last part together with the technical staff. Sturaro will be the first to head to the locker room, having finished his work program, but also the last to leave the sports center.
The rest of the team worked for half an hour for half an hour, first carrying out a training focused once again on the search for offensive solutions, vertically, to go to the cross and then to the shot. Subsequently, under the orders of the assistant coach Lazzini, a match of ten minutes, 11 with three 11, ended in a clean sheet. But the goals will remain for tomorrow, as is hoped in the rossoblu home, when the friendly match against Bordeaux at 20.45 will close the second phase of summer retreat. It will probably not be anticipated by a real finish, but the team could still stay in the pool in the morning.
At the end of the training, on the coach that would bring the rossoblu training back to the hotel, a long and relaxed conversation between Capozucca and Andreazzoli. The transfer market, after all, had a really busy day with the negotiations for Schone and Saponara now over and a brief updating was not a foregone conclusion.
