New York homeless striker Rudy Santos has been charged with four murders
An accusation of homeless murders has been filed this weekend in Chinatown, New York. A 24-year-old Rudy Rodriguez Santos was arrested on charges of murder, attempted murder and possession of marijuana, according to a police statement released on Sunday.
According to police, the suspect was found immediately after the attacks with a metal pipe and arrested without incident. Santos, who was homeless himself, allegedly beat four homeless people with a three-foot-long metal pipe to death while they slept on East Broadway in the Chinese city.
All four men were pronounced dead at the scene. Santos also allegedly attacked the fifth sleeping homeless man, but he was able to escape with his life and describe the attacker. According to the NYPD, the only survivor of the riot at Cornell Hospital is in critical condition. It looks like these are just random attacks right now, said Michael Baldassano, the head of Southern Detectives in Manhattan. No one was targeted by race, age or anything else.
